Le Fumoir
About Le Fumoir Moderne
Le Fumoir Moderne is an independent magazine about vape mods, regulated or mechanical, the battery formats that power them and the models that defined their time. One question runs through every feature, what separates a mod you keep for years from one that ends up in a drawer.
How we look at mods
A spec sheet tells you what a mod promises, real use tells you what it delivers. We focus on what lasts, how the chipset and the buttons hold up, the quality of the contacts and the 510 connector, whether battery doors and spare parts can still be found, how easy the mod is to keep clean.
Who writes it
Features on Le Fumoir are written by Paul-Henri Fage. He cares first about the mods people keep, how they handle in use, and the battery safety rules he spells out whenever a build or a cell format calls for it.
UK readers
Our English pages are written with the United Kingdom in mind. Vaping products sold in the UK follow the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016, which cap nicotine e-liquid at 20 mg/ml and tank capacity at 2 ml, so figures quoted for other markets may not match what is on sale here.
Our independence
Le Fumoir Moderne takes no payment from manufacturers in exchange for coverage. Affiliate links may exist and never shape what we write, and any sponsored content is labelled as such.
Adults only
Vaping is for adults. Nicotine vaping products are not for sale to anyone under 18 in the United Kingdom, nicotine is highly addictive, and nothing we publish is medical advice.
