Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your personal data is Le Fumoir Moderne, reachable at contact@lefumoirmoderne.com. This policy is written to meet the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

We only collect what you send us yourself through the contact form, your email address and your message. We use it solely to answer you, and we never sell or share it.

Lawful basis

We process your message on the basis of your consent, given by ticking the box under the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us.

Where your data is kept

Messages sent through the form are stored in a Google spreadsheet (Google Workspace). Google may process data outside the United Kingdom; where it does, the transfer relies on the safeguards recognised by UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

Contact form data is kept for as long as it takes to deal with your message, then deleted.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising or audience measurement cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is sent to Google when a page is displayed.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent. To exercise those rights, write to contact@lefumoirmoderne.com.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
